Sinead OConnor是个非常特别的女人，很有个性！她清丽的眼神深冷如水潭，和她著名的光头一样引人注目，你要是一直盯着她的眼珠看，就会有要淹死冻死在那儿的错觉。这个离经叛道的女人的歌中充满了才气秀气灵气和狂气，有关她的小道消息也是满天飞，最著名的就是烧教皇照片的那种。大部分人喜欢她温柔成熟又锋利感性的歌声，她有无比宽广的音域，感人气息由平和柔弱到咆哮暴躁排山倒海般袭来。我最喜欢她的一首歌叫“You Make Me the Thief of Your Heart”（《你让我成为偷心贼》）。那是一首电影的插曲，很有名的，叫《因父之名》。如果边看着那部电影的尾声边听着OConnor似潮汐般忽远忽近的歌声，情绪会很失控。听起来就像冰中趟火，火中尝冰，对比相当强烈，简直是深刺入心，可惜这首歌未曾收录于她任何一张个人专辑中。这首由U2乐队核心人物Bono操刀制作的歌曲，从一开始就营造出一种“山雨欲来风满楼”的紧张气氛。尔后在O'Connor狂放不羁的演绎中，逐步推向高潮。最终演变成一场悲怆凄美而又惊心动魄的风暴，汹涌而至……可谓精彩纷呈，高潮迭起.
